Admission is free once as a guest. Anyone who has already attended previous mixers free as a guest or who has an expired membership can pay $15 at the door for individual monthly mixers or become a member by paying an annual membership for 12 monthly mixers hosted by different businesses. A bonus for becoming a member is that you have any month of your choice for doing a presentation about your business.

Presentations at the January 10, 2012 mixer:

Dr. Jennifer Beck is a Board Certified psychiatrist who is now offering the newest treatment option for depression. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy is used to treat people suffering from major depression. It is an outpatient treatment which delivers highly focused magnetic stimulation directly to the area of the brain thought to be involved with regulating mood. Dr. Beck also specializes in geriatric psychiatry, treating patients with dementia and later-life mood and anxiety disorders as well as patients of all ages who suffer from a variety of psychiatric illnesses.

Michael Basta, L.C.S.W. and Marcia Gomez, L.C.S.W., are licensed psychotherapists who provide couples therapy, couples workshops, and training for mental health professionals who work with couples. They are members of the Gottman Institute and have personally trained with Drs. John and Julie Gottman. Dr. John Gottman is the foremost researcher on the success and failure of couples relationships. Michael and Marcia have been offering the research-based workshop, The Art and Science of Love, through their business, Sonoma Couples Workshops, since 2008 and are proud to be offering the workshop three times in 2012.
